The Friends of the Community Library of the Shenango Valley are valuable volunteers who work throughout the year on projects to benefit the library. The Friends have donated thousands of dollars for the purchase of library materials. They also sponsor many children's programs. Their main fundraising project is the used book sales held in the spring and fall each year. It is one of the largest and best-organized in the area and draws customers from far and near.
