Electronic Gadget Instruction is offered by appointment on the first and third Wednesday of every month. In a one on one session, a librarian will answer your questions and guide you through the process of borrowing library books for your Kindle, iPad, smartphone and other related devices. Please call the library at 724-981-4360 to schedule a 30 minute session to receive help making the most of your device!
Borrowing Digital Media
If you've got a smartphone, tablet, or e-reader device, you can now check out digital e-books and audiobooks from CLSV through the OverDrive or Libby app. You will need your current library card number as well as a password you set up at the library.
If you need help with configuring your device, you can download the appropriate instruction sheet below, or you may schedule for a Gadget Workshop and we will help you set it up.
*Patrons must have set up a password on their patron accounts with CLSV. In order to do so, please call or visit the library.
If you have a tablet, such as any Android or Windows tablet, a Kindle Fire, or Nook Color/HD, you can download instructions here.
