Volunteer @ CLSV

The Community Library of the Shenango Valley strives to be a patron-focused resource center, enhancing the lives of people of all ages and backgrounds by providing outstanding materials, programs, and technology in a safe, inviting environment.

This mission could not be realized without a staff of dedicated volunteers willing to share their time and talents with the community. Volunteers are an integral part of our team,  and without them, we would not be able to offer outstanding service to our patrons.

If you are interested in volunteering at the library, please fill out a volunteer application and return it to the library. Applications are available at the front desk or at the link below.

Current Volunteer Opportunities at the Library:

  • Shelving: Put returned books back on the shelf so patrons can find them.

  • Dusting and Cleaning: Books make dust, and it gets everywhere.

  • Shelf Reading: Keep the library in order by making sure books are properly shelved.

  • Program Prep Help: Help the libraries prep materials for programs

  • Children & Teen Shelving: Shelve books in the Teen and Children areas.

  • DVD Organizer: Put DVDs in alphabetical order.

If you have questions, please contact the library at 724-981-4360 or email Adult Services Coordinator Kendall McCoy at kmccoy@clsv.net
