Must pre-register for each event with the number of people attending. Please call or visit to register. 

Take and Make

Do you want to do storytime and a craft from home? Then stop by and pick up a Take and Make. Take and Makes can be picked up the weeks of Sept. 7, 14, 21. Videos of Storytime and the craft will be posted on Wednesday of those weeks. Supplies are first come first serve.

Easter Egg Acorns

Come in to the library for a socially distanced craft. Sept. 22, 6-7 PM. Registration is required, open to teens and adults.

Take and Make

Follow along with a video and turn some Easter Eggs into cute acorns. You will need to register for your take and make. Once signed up feel free to stop by and pick up your bag of the craft items from Sept.23-29. The video tutorial will be posted on the Library's Facebook page on Sept. 29. You will need to have your own glue and decorations for the acorns that you make. Open to teens and adults.

Voter Registration and Elections in Mercer County

The League of Women Voters of Mercer County provides programs on topics of public interest at the Community Library of the Shenango Valley.  Because of COVID 19, virtual programs will be presented in partnership with the library. The first program will take place on September 25 at 2:00, and it will feature Thad Hall, Mercer County’s Director of Voter Registration and Elections. He will speak on the work of the department and the coming election.  Questions can be submitted beforehand to the chapter’s email address,  Questions can also be submitted during the course of the program. The virtual program is free of charge.
