Mercer County Genealogy Society

The Mercer County Genealogical Society meets at CLSV every Tuesday from 10 am - 3 pm.

The Society maintains numerous resources, including necrology indexes, vital statistics, cemetery records, and more.  Many of their resources are available at all times the library is open.

Search the Sharon Herald at the Library!

CLSV has microfilm archives of the Sharon Herald - as well as other early Sharon newspapers -  that span from the 1870s through to the current year.  These archives are available to the general public.

Ancestry Library

CLSV has a subscription to Ancestry Library, which provides access to several genealogical sources, including census data, military and immigration records, periodicals and newspapers, and birth, marriage, and death records. Use one of our computers or bring in your laptop and log in to our Wi-Fi to access!
