Libby

For IOS/Android/Kindle Fire:

Install the Libby app.
When asked if you have a library card, select Yes.
Search for New Castle Library District
When asked, select Choose a location, then select Community Library of the Shenango Valley
Sign in with your library card number and password (if you don't have a password, call or stop by the library to set one up!).

For Kindle E-Readers:

Use a computer, Android or iOS mobile device to sign in to Libby with your library card number and password.
From the Libby search page, select Preferences.
Select Supports, then select Kindle. Select Apply Preference.
After you check out the title, select read now with Kindle.
- A new window opens showing the Amazon.com login screen
Sign into your Amazon.com account.
- If you are already signed in, the ebook page is shown.
Select the orange Get Library Book button.

Access Partner Libraries Through the Libby App

You can access Libby collections across the Northwest Pennsylvania Library District. In addition to the New Castle Library District, you can access materials from the Seneca Library District, Oil Creek Library District, Erie County Public Library, and the Crawford County Federated Library System!

To add new cards available through the Northwest PA Region:

Log in to your library's collection with your library card number.
Click on the center icon at the bottom of the screen (three horizontal lines).
Click "Add Library."
Search using the collection names (see above).
Click "Sign in With My Card."
Scroll to "Partner Libraries" and click on Community Library of the Shenango Valley.
Re-enter your library card number.
Each library added should display as a separate digital card on your account.
Repeat for the other collections.
